Terms of Service

Last updated October 14, 2026

These terms are in two parts. Part 1 applies to everyone who uses rm3auto.com or requests or receives service from RM3 Automotive ("RM3", "we", "us"). Part 2 applies to the RM3 Meta app, the tool we use to manage our own Facebook and Instagram advertising. By using the site or booking service, you agree to Part 1. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or book service.

Part 1: General terms

1. Our services

RM3 Automotive is a mobile mechanic serving the Greater Atlanta Metro Area. A technician comes to your vehicle to diagnose and repair it. The services we offer, and the towns we serve, are described on this site and may change at any time. We may decline any job, including one that is unsafe, outside our service area, or beyond what can be done properly at a roadside or driveway.

2. Requests, estimates and authorization

  • A request is not a booking. Submitting a quote request or picking a time holds that time while we review it. The appointment is confirmed only when we confirm it with you.
  • Estimates. We give you a written estimate before work starts. An estimate is based on what you tell us and what we can see. If we find something different once we are with the vehicle, we will tell you and give you a revised estimate before doing additional work.
  • Authorization. We do not start paid work until you approve the estimate, which may be by signing it on the private link we send you, in writing, or in person. Signing tells us you are the owner of the vehicle or have the owner's permission to have it repaired.
  • Diagnostics. Diagnosing a fault takes time and equipment. If a diagnostic charge applies, it will be on your estimate before we begin.
  • Rescheduling and cancelling. Please tell us as early as you can if you need to move or cancel. Any charge for a late cancellation or a wasted trip will be stated on your estimate or agreed with you in advance.

3. Where we work

You are responsible for making sure we are allowed to work on the vehicle where it is parked, and that the location is reasonably safe and accessible. That includes permission from a property owner, landlord, employer or homeowners' association where one is needed. We may stop or decline work if conditions are unsafe, including traffic, weather, lighting, ground conditions or the conduct of anyone present. We are not responsible for fines, tows or disputes that arise because work was not permitted at the location you gave us.

4. Payment

Payment is due when the work is complete unless we agree otherwise in writing. We accept card payment through Stripe and payment through Cash App and Venmo, using the links we send you. Card details are entered on Stripe's own pages and are never seen or stored by RM3. If a payment is reversed or charged back without a valid reason, you remain responsible for the amount owed.

5. Parts and warranty

Unless your estimate says otherwise, we supply the parts. If you supply your own parts, we are not responsible for their quality, fit or failure, and labor to remove or replace a part you supplied is chargeable. Any guarantee on our workmanship, and its length and conditions, is stated on your estimate or invoice. Parts carry the manufacturer's or supplier's warranty, which we will help you claim. Our guarantee does not cover damage from accidents, misuse, neglect, later work by someone else, or problems with parts of the vehicle we did not work on.

6. Your vehicle

Please remove valuables from the vehicle before we arrive. You agree to tell us honestly about the vehicle's condition and anything you know that may affect the work, such as warning lights, prior repairs, or modifications. Older and high-mileage vehicles can have parts that break during normal repair because of corrosion or wear, such as seized bolts or brittle plastic clips. We will tell you when that happens and will not charge more without your approval, but we are not responsible for a pre-existing condition. A repair fixes the fault we diagnosed; it is not a promise that nothing else on the vehicle will fail.

7. Reviews, photos and things you send us

You may send us photos, videos, descriptions and reviews. You confirm you have the right to share them and that they are truthful. You let us use what you send to quote and carry out the work. If you leave a review, you also give us a free, non-exclusive, worldwide permission to publish it on our site and in our marketing, without your name or contact details, and to shorten it or remove personal details from it. We review submissions before they appear and may decline to publish any of them. Do not send anything unlawful, abusive, or containing someone else's personal information.

8. Using the website

You may use this site to learn about RM3, request service, view your own records, pay, and apply for work. You agree not to misuse it, which includes trying to get into areas that are not yours (such as another customer's records, the technician portal or the admin area), interfering with how it runs, submitting false requests, scraping it in bulk, or using it to send spam. Private links we send you, such as estimate, signing, payment and records links, are for you alone; please do not share them. The site's content, logo and design belong to RM3 Automotive and may not be copied for commercial use without our permission.

9. Facebook and Instagram

We advertise and keep pages on Facebook and Instagram. Your use of those platforms is governed by Meta's own terms and policies. A message, comment or call that reaches us through them is handled under these terms and our Privacy Policy, the same as one that reaches us any other way. The tool we use to manage our advertising has its own terms in Part 2.

10. Calls, texts and email

When you give us your phone number or email address, you agree that we may contact you about your request, appointment, estimate, payment and service records. We may also send occasional service reminders by email, each with a one-click unsubscribe. Texts from RM3 are sent by a person, not an automated system, and standard message and data rates may apply. Tell us at any time to stop texting you and we will.

11. Disclaimers

The website and its information are provided "as is." Prices, timings and availability shown on the site are general and may change; your written estimate is what applies to your job. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated in these terms or on your estimate or invoice, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, RM3 Automotive is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, such as lost wages, lost time, rental or alternative transport costs, or lost profits, arising from the website or our services. Our total liability for any claim relating to a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job. These limits do not apply to death or personal injury caused by our negligence, to our fraud, or to anything else the law does not allow us to limit.

13. Indemnity

You agree to cover RM3's reasonable losses and costs arising from your breach of these terms, from information you gave us that was false, or from work performed at a location or on a vehicle you were not entitled to authorize.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If something goes wrong, please contact us first; most problems are settled with a phone call. Any dispute that cannot be settled informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Georgia, and you and RM3 each agree to the jurisdiction of those courts. Either party may bring a claim in small claims court where it qualifies.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. The version in effect when you approve an estimate is the one that applies to that job. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.

Part 2: RM3 Meta app terms

This part covers the RM3 Meta app (the "App"), a Meta developer app registered to RM3 Automotive. Where it says something different from Part 1, this part applies to the App.

1. What the app is

The App is an internal business tool. It connects to Meta's Marketing API on behalf of RM3 Automotive's own business account to manage RM3's own advertising on Facebook and Instagram. Through it we:

  • create, edit, pause and resume RM3's campaigns, ad sets and ads;
  • upload the images and videos used in RM3's ads;
  • preview ads before they run;
  • read performance reports for RM3's own ad account and Page, such as spend, reach, impressions, clicks, and the number of messages or calls our ads produced; and
  • compare those results so we know which of our ads to keep running.

New ads are created paused, and nothing is set to spend money until someone at RM3 approves it.

2. Who may use it

Only RM3 Automotive and the people it authorizes may use the App. It is not offered to the public, there is no way to sign up for it, and it does not use Facebook Login: no Facebook or Instagram user signs in to it or grants it access to their account. It acts only on ad accounts, Pages and business assets owned by RM3 Automotive. Anyone RM3 authorizes must keep its access credentials confidential and use the App only for RM3's advertising.

3. Permissions and what they are used for

The App uses only the permissions it needs to manage RM3's own advertising:

  • ads_management and ads_read: to create and manage RM3's ads and read their performance.
  • business_management: to work with the ad account and assets in RM3's own business portfolio.
  • pages_show_list, pages_read_engagement and pages_manage_ads: to identify RM3's own Facebook Page, run ads from it, and read its ad engagement totals.
  • instagram_basic: to identify RM3's own Instagram account so ads can run there.

4. What the app does not do

  • It does not read the content of Messenger, Instagram or WhatsApp conversations.
  • It does not collect leads or use Meta lead forms to gather personal details.
  • It does not access the profiles, friends, posts or photos of Facebook or Instagram users.
  • It does not upload customer lists to Meta or build audiences from RM3's customer records.
  • It does not sell, rent or share any data it receives from Meta.
  • It does not post to, or act on, any Page or account that RM3 does not own.

5. Data

The performance data the App reads is in totals; it does not identify the people who saw or clicked an ad. It is stored on RM3's own server, is used only to run RM3's advertising, and is kept only as long as it is useful for that. Access tokens are kept out of logs and are not shared. More detail, including how to ask for data to be deleted, is in our Privacy Policy.

6. Meta's terms

RM3's use of the App is also governed by the Meta Platform Terms, Meta's Developer Policies and Meta's Advertising Standards, and RM3 agrees to follow them. Where those terms are stricter than this page, they apply. The App is RM3's, not Meta's; Meta does not sponsor, endorse or operate it, and is not responsible for it.

7. People who see our ads

If you see or interact with an RM3 ad on Facebook or Instagram, Meta's terms govern your use of those platforms, and Meta decides who is shown an ad based on the targeting we choose and its own systems. Any offer in an ad is subject to Part 1 of these terms and to the written estimate for your job. If you contact us from an ad, we handle your details under our Privacy Policy.

8. Availability, changes and ending use

We may change, suspend or stop using the App at any time, and Meta may limit or end its access under Meta's own terms. When RM3 stops using the App, we will revoke its access tokens and delete the data it stored, except anything we must keep by law.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The App is provided for RM3's own use, "as is", with no promise to anyone else that it will be available or error free. Part 1's disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law and disputes sections apply to the App as well.
